Solo - Designer & Programmer

Eco Sanctuary is a 3D mobile game where the player oversees a barren plot of land, with the objective of turning it into a flourishing haven for endangered species. Players are also tasked with constructing facilities to generate their own power and harvest water, aiming to create an environment that is as sustainable as possible.

Challenges & Responsibilities

The creation of Eco Sanctuary required building a number of complex systems, such as resource management, objective tracking, animal behaviour and automated saving and loading.

Additional work included creating a custom 'Xray' shader using Shader Graph to allow the animals to be visible when hidden behind other objects such as foliage.
